bambu® Introduces Curvy
Servers with Lacquer Accents
January
2007, New York – bambu®
the renewable ideas company, introduces another first,
lacquered natural utensils made from organically grown
bamboo.
These handsome all-purpose servers are designed
with sweeping shapes and rounded easy-grip handles. They
are hand shaped and finished from a single piece of organically
grown bamboo. The bambu Curvy Servers are offered in four
styles; Naked, no color at all, and in three striking
new colors – Kiwi, Cayenne, and Aqua.
The colored Curvy Servers are lacquered on
the backside with natural bamboo on the inside. This is
the first time that lacquer has been used with organically
grown kitchen utensils. The Curvy Servers were designed
by notable New York designer, Gabrielle Lewin who is a
contributor to the bambu Design Collective, a collaboration
of designers providing creative input and product ideas
to the company.
bambu will be showcasing the Curvy Servers
along with over 20 new products for 2007 at the International
Home & Housewares March 11-13, 2007 in Chicago at
booth #S2187.
The Curvy Servers are available for delivery
at the beginning of February. The suggested retail price
is $9.00 for the Naked, or the all natural, and $10.50
for the colored lacquered servers.
