bambu® Introduces bambu KIDS line of Natural Bamboo Utensils

January 2007, New York – bambu® the renewable ideas company, introduces the first-of-a-kind line of utensils specially designed for babies and children and made from organically grown bamboo, nature’s remarkably renewable material.

This new series of natural utensils is sized and shaped for small hands and tender mouths. There have been few alternatives to plastic until now. “We felt that bambu KIDS gives parents a conscientious alternative; a product that was sensibly designed and priced and made from a renewable resource,’ stated co-founder, Jeff Delkin. Three products are being introduced in the bambu KIDS line and available for delivery in early February.

Baby’s Fork & Spoon are packaged in sets of 2 with a suggested retail price of $10.99. Kids Fork & Spoon for $5.99, and our undersized essential kitchen tools; The Kids in the Kitchen Tools consist of five utensils for the budding chef, and retail for $14.99. The bambu KIDS natural utensils are the only child utensils made from certified organically grown bamboo. These utensils completely food-safe, durable and lightweight, and wash up easily by hand or in the dishwasher.

bambu will be showcasing the bambu KIDS along with over 20 new products for 2007 at the International Home & Housewares March 11-13, 2007 in Chicago at booth #S2187.
