The SnapStix bamboo chopsticks are designed
combining the best characteristics of Japanese and Chinese
chopsticks – slightly longer, gently tapered and rounded
at the tip. Shaped from 0rganically grown bamboo, these
SnapStix are the easy and fun way to eat with chopsticks.
Snap, use, rest, and use some more.
SnapStix have been awarded the 2007 Housewares
Design Finalist Award for the Tabletop category.
It is believed that chopsticks were developed
in China about 5,000 years ago! People cooked their food
in large pots that held heat for a long time, and impatient
eaters would break twigs off trees to get to their morsels.
It is believed that the philosopher and great scholar,
Confucius, who lived in the 5th century B.C., also influenced
the development of chopsticks with his nonviolent teachings.
Today, 5000 years later, bambu brings you
the ‘SnapStix’ – a clever patented designed chopstick
like no other.
bambu will be showcasing SnapStix along with
over 20 new products for 2007 at the International Home
& Housewares March 11-13, 2007 in Chicago at booth
#S2187. The Snapstix are available with a suggested retail
price of only $1.99 a set.
