bambu® Introduces Innovative
‘Spoontula’ series
January
2007, New York – bambu®
the renewable ideas company, introduces the first-of-a-kind
patented design ‘Spoontula.’ These unique natural utensils
combine the style and function of a cooking spoon with
a spatula. Stir, taste, spoon and blend with these uniquely
designed kitchen tools made from organically grown bamboo,
nature’s remarkably renewable material.
Featured on the cover the new 2007 bambu
catalog, these uniquely designed, eye-catching tools are
ready to perform double duty in the kitchen. The ‘Spoontulas’
were designed by notable Paris designer, Godefroy de Virieu
a member of the bambu Design Collective, a collaboration
of designers providing creative input and product ideas
to the company.
The new ‘Spoontula’ series comes packaged
in a set of three with a suggested retail price of $14.99.
Like all bambu Natural Utensils, the ‘Spoontulas’ are
made from organically grown bamboo. “We were intrigued
with the concept, but when we put them to test in the
kitchen, we immediately fell in love with them. They are
extraordinary looking, almost sculptural,’ remarked bambu
co-founder, Jeff Delkin.
bambu will be showcasing the ‘Spoontulas’
along with over 20 new products for 2007 at the International
Home & Housewares March 11-13, 2007 in Chicago at
