Ingredients & Packaging

We use natural and low or no-impact ingredients wherever possible. We use food safe oils, water-based adhesives, natural lacquers and waste-water management practices in our production.

NOTE: We do not use nor do we recommend the use of mineral oil, a petroleum-based oil used on similar products (ask for ‘Bamboo Goo’ for the best all natural

Vegan too

All bambu products are 100% vegan. No animal-derived ingredients, nor ingredients are processed with animal products. No ingredients or products are produced on shared machinery with non-vegan ingredients, and neither the products nor their ingredients are tested on animals.


Packaging

We spend a lot of time thinking about packaging. We consider several things regarding materials; what it is made from, where it comes from, how it is processed, its durability, and recyclability.

Our goals are to limit the amount of packaging we use, and look for ways to reduce waste at every opportunity. We are committed to finding solutions to minimize packaging and use recycled, low-impact materials whenever possible.

We must balance this, with the requirements of the FDA, consumer safety regulations, and importantly, our aim to have every product arrive to our customer in excellent condition.
