Retailers Vote for the Best Green Products – bambu wins top ‘Eco Choice’ Award

bambu has been awarded the Eco Choice Award for its Kitchen Basics bamboo utensil set at this year’s New York Gift Show. Kitchen Basics, introduced this year, won the ‘Most Sellable’ award as voted by retailers. Kitchen Basics have been a strong seller all year, and for good reason too. The set of two spoons and one spatula are simple and elegant, lightweight and durable, and at a great price point. They will quickly become the ‘go to’ favorites in almost any kitchen.

The Kitchen Basics from bambu were featured in the recent SustainAbility: Design for a Better World exhibition in New York and were selected from more than 250 entries.

Cut from a single piece of bamboo and dried in the sun, our bamboo utensils are hand shaped and hand finished. No finishes or adhesives are added. bambu uses only Certified organically grown bamboo which means no chemicals or pesticides are used.
