Every bowl is hand produced requiring numerous steps to complete. Finally, a food-safe natural lacquer is applied, creating a beautiful, durable waterproof finish accented in a modern and fresh color range.

Each bamboo bowl is hand coiled with small strips of bamboo. Our bowls are shaped by hand, and then applied with a natural food safe lacquer derived from the cashew nut tree.

Then each bowl is hand shaped and finished. Our bowls are coiled by families in rural villages to help supplement farming income. The skill of coiling and carving bamboo bowls is a centuries-old craft unique to Vietnam.

Each coconut bowl is unique. Their irregularity is a part of their charm and appeal. Our ‘Coco’ Bowls go through a similar multi-step preparation process as our coiled bamboo. bambu Coconut Bowls are tested and approved for food appropriateness.
