We put a great deal of care into our products and we are pleased to share with you this important information so you can make informed decisions about the products you use, and about the people and the company you support. Offering safe, high quality, well-designed products our a priority at bambu.
 All bambu products are tested and must pass independent international laboratory testing before we can label our products ‘food safe’ and ‘food appropriate.’

In order to meet the requirements of the Federal Drug Administration (FDA) and the Consumer Product Safety Council (CPSC), we use an independent third party testing laboratory for bambu products, and certify that our products have undergone testing and have complied with the product safety requirements.

Simple Care, Long Life

Your bambu product will provide years of use and enjoyment if you follow these simple instructions -

  • Clean in hot soapy water and wipe dry
  • Not recommended for dishwasher or prolonged soaking
  • Not recommended for microwave
  • Consider treating your bamboo or cork with ‘Bamboo Goo’ from bambu to restore and protect the natural wood grain

Kids Products

All bambu KIDS products have been rigorously tested by a CPSC accredited testing facility. Certificates of conformity can be made available on request.

CPSC establishes testing procedures to simulate normal or reasonably foreseeable use, damage, or abuse to which toys and other articles intended for use by children may be subjected.
We work closely with consumer protection legal professionals to keep us apprised of any relevant changes from the CPSC (Consumer Product Safety Commission). You are invited to learn more at www.cpsc.gov

It is wise to take extra precautions with products intended for children. We recommend the following:

  • Always use this product with adult supervision
  • Never leave the child unattended while using this product
  • Throw away at first signs of damage or weakness
  • Wash thoroughly before use
  • Hand wash with warm soapy water and rinse thoroughly
  • Not recommended for dishwasher or prolonged soaking
  • Not recommended for microwave
