bambu® Awarded Google's ‘Trusted Store’ Badge

December 06, 2016

Bambu®, the homeware line known for their beautiful, innovative and environmentally friendly products, was recently selected to join the Google Trusted Stores program. To help shoppers identify online merchants that offer a great shopping experience, the Google Trusted Store badge is awarded to e-commerce sites that demonstrate a track record of on-time shipping and excellent customer service. When visiting the Bambu website, shoppers will see a Google Trusted Store badge and can click on it for more information.

“This has been a 2016 goal for us and we are thrilled to finally receive it,” said Jeffrey Delkin, President and Co-Founder of Bambu.  “Our philosophy about sustainability goes beyond our give and take with the earth, it’s also about how we do business. In our green supply chain, we are also committed to the best and most fair conditions to our workers in order to produce the very best products and service for our loyal customers. We are so pleased to be recognized for that by Google.”

As an added benefit, when a shopper makes a purchase at a Google Trusted Store, they have the option to select free purchase protection from Google. Then in the unlikely event of an issue with their purchase, they can request Google’s help, and Google will work with Bambu and the customer to address the issue. As part of this, Google offers up to $1,000 lifetime purchase protection for eligible purchases.

Google Trusted Stores is entirely free, both for shoppers and for online stores. The program helps online stores like Bambu attract new customers, increase sales and differentiate themselves by showing off their excellent service via the badge on their websites.

Blending function and elegance, the Bambu products are made from renewable materials like bamboo, cork, cedar, coconut, hemp, organic cotton and soy. A value-driven company that sources materials locally, the Bambu motto is that passion follows you when you work hard and strive to make a positive difference.
