bambu® joins the Giving Tuesday worldwide movement. Giving Tuesday is a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration. #GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season. It is an opportunity for individuals and businesses to donate time or money or products and services.
bambu is joining with 1% for the Planet and several other Portland businesses in a Giving Tuesday event at the Patagonia store in Portland, Oregon. We will be donating 10% (not 1%) of online sales from the whole day and sales from the store event to Friends of the Gorge.
For those of us familiar with the Pacific Northwest, the Columbia Gorge is an extraordinary landscape offering so much to so many people. Its pristine beauty in all seasons is one of the many wonders of our planet. Friends of the Gorge is a non-profit that works to keep the Gorge unspoiled.
