We love salad. All kinds of salad. That's why when we heard about Julia Sherman we just had to meet her. As we learn from Julia, salads can take unlimited forms with countless ingredients and can be served up and enjoyed anytime of the day.
We caught Julia making a 'breakfast salad' in front of the cameras. See her here (http://cbsaustin.com/features/we-are-austin/pick-of-the-day-salad-for-president)
How cool is the open lime seasoning trick she shares with us?
Also, check out her website here.
bambu was involved with Julia and her project with MoMA. In the summer of 2014, Salad For President created the first ever MoMA PS1 Salad Garden, reimagining the previously unused rooftop of the museum as a public space for heirloom vegetables, and dinners.
Information on her newly published cookbook, Salad for President, is here.
Our Veneerware® bamboo plates and bamboo sporks make a perfect presentation at the recent book signing event in SF.
