Great combo with your bamboo purchase
Hi Jim, we're so glad you enjoyed the bamboo and the nourishing oil! Thanks for sharing your positive experience.
Great finish. Bamboo is so much better than plastic. Ordering was easy and having the product in hand gave me happy results! Boards holding up well after 6 months of use
Hi William! We're so glad you love the beautiful bamboo boards!Thank you for choosing us!
I’m getting rid of my plastic cutting boards. Bought Bambu because I did my research, and Bambu was highly recommended. This oil was also recommended to keep them in good condition. I’m very happy with both.
Hello Laura! We are thrilled to hear that you are enjoying your Bambu cutting boards. Thank you for choosing our products!
The wood and bamboo oil is quick and easy to apply. It restored my older cutting boards and gave my new board a good start. I believe using this oil once a month extends the life of my cutting boards. I really like that it is all natural and contains beeswax.
As good or better than oils I have paid a lot more for.
Works beautifully. Keeps our boards looking great.
Love the quality!
works just as advertised
I just purchased 4 bambu cutting boards in various shapes and sizes, along with the nourishing oil and some utensils. Very pleased with the quality of all items. I chose bambu because of the environmentally friendly and nontoxic products.
Hello Marc! We're thrilled to hear you're enjoying your new cutting boards and utensils. Thanks for sharing!
The bamboo and wood nourishing oil makes the maintenance and longevity of our bamboo products so easy!
Hello Brigitte! We're delighted to hear that you find your new oil easy to use
The oil was easy to use and helped keep my boards in good shape.
Used Bamboo on four cutting boards I just purchased and happy with the results. As I was moving away from plastic boards, made sense to us this natural oil vs a pertroleum based oil.
Hello Loren! We're delighted to hear that you're happy with the bamboo cutting boards and natural oil. Thank you for choosing us!
Nice and clean ingredients!
Disappointed that the oil is not absorbed into the bamboo, which in my mind is necessary to preserve the bamboo effectively. Instead an oily coating remains on the surface even when left out overnight.
Hi Wes,
We are sorry to hear that! It sound like you may have just used a bit too much. The instructions do state to allow the oil to absorb, then wipe off any excess - you should be able to just wipe of the excess and use your board like normal.
I have not used it yet but I am sure it will be great. How often do you use it?
The oil seems to work well thus far. The smell is not too bad and it is easy to apply to my items.
I am a "wood refinisher" for over 30 years. I know your ingredients well. Just never thought of what Bambu did. You guys are geniuses for mixing linseed oil, tung oil and beeswax together for the best food safe cutting board finishing oil o have ever used. It is fantastic. Arthur
Enjoying my new bamboo boards of varying sizes; nice to fit the board to the specific job I have to do! It's also very nice to know there have been NO chemicals used in the making and preparation of the boards and utensils. The little spoons are especially good for putting a small amount of raw honey into my coffee or tea.
It's very nourishing for the bamboo boards, but if you're like me and used it within a couple of hours to cut fruit, the fruit pieces may have some of the light scent of the oil. not a big deal and it's non-toxic though.
Thanks for sharing Jeanette!
Our oil is non-toxic but we understand the 'earthy' scent of the tung oil can take some getting used to! We typically will let our boards and utensils dry overnight, or for 24 hours if possible to get as much of the oil to soak in as possible.
I bought this oil for my new bamboo cutting board. I did not want mineral oil and saw this and decided to try it. I really love the results. My new cutting board now has an excellent finish and I love that it is food safe and chemical free.
Thanks for sharing, Sandra! We use the oil for just about everything that needs conditioning around the office :)
Excellent product
Thanks George!
Little bit of the Nourishing oil transformed much used Give It a Rest spatula into brand new looking again.
That's great to hear! We use our oil for just about all of our bamboo and wooden tools
I love the product! It was easy to order, came on time and it has worked perfectly on my bamboo cutting board. I will definitely be buying again!
That's great to hear! Thank you :)
Excellent product , saved my fave wood bowl
Seems to protect and replenish the bamboo. I seasoned the boards when they arrived as directed. Now I use the oil after every few board uses. It appears it is not necessary every, single time. Great product!
Thank you for your review, Winifred! We typically recommend oiling your boards every 3-6 months, depending on your usage.
Great product to coat our new bamboo cutting boards! Works great..
I really don't love the smell of this oil, but I hope it is effective at keeping my cutting board in good shape. Only time will tell. The smell doesn't last too long. After a few cleanings, it seems to have dissipated.
Was pleased with the wood oil. There is no smell and it makes my cutting boards like nice. It soaked into the bambu and didn’t leave any oil residue.
I recently replaced my plastic cutting boards with bamboo and am happy to have found a wonderful oil to keep the new boards looking great and helping to extend their usage life.
Thanks Nadine!
Haven't had to use it yet, but so glad they offer a way to take care of the utensils!
Hi Kelly! Thank you for your positive review! The oil is a great way to keep your wood and bamboo products looking great (and lasting long!)
I haven't tried this woold oil yet, but I appreciate the natural ingredients. Thanks!
